HughJampton. The filter location for the X244 is significantly different to that for the later X250. It is accessed from the outside, and is in part of the cabin air intake system. (I know the first diagram is of a car, but the pictures are all, obviously, for the X244). Put the pump. The fuel system is self- bleeding. Turn the ignition on but do not start the engine. Listen carefully near the fuel tank and hear the pump circulating fuel. Wait until the sound is steady with no gurgling and air sounds. Then start the engine. Good luck.
